Overview

Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team in our nurturing village school. We require a Teaching Assistant, to work within our Early Years team: the role is likely to involve providing 1-1 support.

Cranham is a highly compassionate and supportive village school located just 10 minutes from Brockworth. The successful candidate would be required to:

-       Build positive, professional relationships with children, parents and staff

-       Be flexible and pro-active, and enjoy finding solutions to a variety of challenges

-       Be confident to support a child with additional needs

-       Be warm, adaptable and able to work as part of a friendly and supportive team

-       Be willing to supervise during lunchtime, promoting positive relationships and play opportunities while supporting pupil wellbeing

This is a fixed term contract. Hours may be amended on review or cease if the child leaves the school.

The post is for 30 hours a week and will be split as follows:

8.45AM 12PM – 12.30PM - 3.15PM
